Welcome
This 15-semester credit hour program, comprised of five courses and a year-long practicum, is designed for applicants who hold an earned master’s degree and are pursuing management positions in public and private schools that require the Texas superintendent certificate. Upon completion of the required coursework and practicum, the culminating examination is the superintendent TExES.

Certificate Only Requirements
- Master’s degree and valid teaching certificate
- Principal certification (must be held prior to completion of superintendent certification program)
- Completion of requirements for the superintendent certification program
- Successful completion of the superintendent TExES
