  Updated Library Hours

While we love assisting you remotely, we opened our doors on July 6th! Our hours will be Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. To be completely honest, we've missed assisting you in-person! If you're remaining remote, please check out the "Remote Services" tab to see how we'll continue to support your educational needs.

Here are a few things to know before coming back into the library:

  • Enter the library on the library's eastside. The south doors will be exit only.
  • We have transformed the physical space to promote social distancing.
  • Check out the "Changes to Services" tab for changes you should be aware of.
  • Please assist us in providing a safe place to study by:
    • practicing social distancing by remaining 6 feet apart,
    • and wearing a mandatory protective face covering, as University policy requires masks be worn in campus buildings, unless a health-related exception exists. If you do not have a mask, you will be given one at the library service desk inside the front doors.

Further Information and Updates

As the situation continues to evolve, our plans may change. Please check our homepage and social media for updates. Additionally, visit our COVID-19 FAQ for further information.

  • Reservations are required to use library computers and study rooms.
  • The following areas will remain closed: the entirety of the 2nd floor (Special Collections and University Archives, Government Documents, Loan, Periodicals, and Microform collections), 1st floor loan, IRC, and Youth collections. • The University has gone "cashless." As a result, we only accept credit cards, checks, or exact change.
  • Since some of our study spaces no longer have power outlets, we have battery packs that you may reserve to extend the life of your laptop or other electronics.
  • Please pickup your Interlibrary Loan items from the Research & Access Desk.
  • Our closing process has changed to assist us in cleaning the library,
    • 30 minutes prior to closing we will no longer checkout items, take payments, or accept new reservations
