Professional Profile

Allison Kleman joined the Department of Education in 2025. She received a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Before coming to higher education, Mrs. Kleman spent over a decade in K–12 schools as a high school mathematics teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. She also served as a director at West Texas A&M University, where she built the University’s dual credit program and strengthened partnerships with regional high schools.

Teaching and Related Service

Mrs. Kleman teaches clinical teaching courses in the College of Education and coaches teacher residents through their field-based experiences. She also serves as a liaison between WTAMU and PK–12 school districts, working closely with district leaders and mentor teachers to support teacher preparation.

Research and Creative Activity

Her professional interests include teacher development, instructional leadership, and fostering effective university–school partnerships.
