Professional Profile

Dr. Pollart received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in English Language Arts as well as her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and Masters of Education in Administration from West Texas A&M University. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University.

Teaching and Related Service 

She teaches undergraduate social studies courses and serves as the Buff Start Coordinator and Testing Coordinator. She is the advisor for Students Assisting in Good Endeavors (S.A.G.E.) a faith-based community service organization established in 2000.

Research and Creative Activity 

Dr. Pollart's research areas include teaching reading and writing to at-risk and struggling readers and writers in K-12 and college and making social studies interactive and fun through project-based and inquiry-based learning.
