Professional Profile
Dr. Favela joined to Department of Education in 2025. She received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from West Texas A&M University, a M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology from West Texas A&M University, and an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology from Texas Tech University. Dr. Favela has worked as an Instructional Designer in higher education for 17 years prior to being an Assistant Professor.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Favela teaches graduate instructional design and technology courses in the Education Department and serves as the Director of the Instructional Design and Technology program at WTAMU.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Favela’s research interests include personalized learning design, course design impact on learning, and technology usage in courses.
