This highly respected online Texas teacher certification program offers continuous enrollment and is self-paced. You can be eligible to be hired as a teacher on a Texas intern certificate as quickly as 2-3 months.

Ready

PACE candidates must have an earned bachelor’s degree with at least an overall 2.75 GPA and 12-24 semester credit hours of content coursework in the intended certification as designated by the Texas Administrative Code. For example, if you want to be a math teacher you must have 12-24 SCH of math courses on your transcript(s).

Set
Complete the online, self-paced module. Complete 40 hours of classroom observations. You can substitute up to 15 hours by observing specified online video lessons.
Teach!

Upon passing your official TExES Content Exam and successful completion of the above steps, you are now eligible to receive a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) and teach on a Texas intern certificate. At this point, qualified candidates may complete the remaining online training and testing requirements while they begin their one-year supervised teaching internship.
