Professional Profile
Dr. Judd joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences in 2025. He earned a B.S. in Agroecology from West Virginia University and a M.S. in Plant and Soil Sciences from Oklahoma State University. He completed a Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2025.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Judd teaches undergraduate and graduate level course in Plant, Soil, and Environmental Sciences including Fundamentals of Soil Science and Soil Fertility. He also serves as a coach for the WT Soil Judging Team.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Judd's research is focused on soil health and nutrient management improvement in integrated cropping systems. Current interests include managing soil organic matter persistence, manure nitrogen losses, and on-farm nutrient use efficiency.
