Professional Profile
Amy Newton starts her 9th year in the Paul Engler College of Ag and Natural Sciences where she serves as the Business Administrator. Newton began her WT career in the Agricultural Sciences Department in 2018 before transferring to the Dean's Office in 2024.
Amy and her husband, Brent, reside in Amarillo; they have one son, Rodey, and a daughter-in-law, Jaci. Rodey is a 2017 graduate of WTAMU Agricultural Sciences. Rodey and Jaci currently live in Nashville where Rodey is a Vice President for Capital One. Amy is excited to become a "Lovie" (Grandma) to little Rory due in 2026.
Amy loves to bake and travel with her family. Amy and Brent are members of St. Stephen Church in Amarillo.
