Enables Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students to demonstrate advanced nursing competencies through the implementation of a scholarly project aimed at improving patient outcomes, healthcare delivery, or system performance. Students will engage in ongoing, structured communication with their project advisor and DNP committee to report progress, address challenges, and ensure project milestones are met. The course emphasizes the application of leadership, change management, and quality improvement principles to overcome barriers and facilitate successful implementation within clinical or organizational settings. Integrating evidence-based practice, theoretical frameworks, and population-specific factors, students will ensure alignment with professional standards and intended impact. Additionally, students will track, document, and evaluate project activities using appropriate metrics, demonstrating accountability and responsiveness to emerging findings. Seminar discussions provide opportunities for reflection, peer collaboration, and strategy refinement informed by best practices and feedback. Provides 180 hours practicum.
