Professional Profile
Mrs. Robinson joined the College of Nursing and Health Science in 2007. She received a B.S. in Nursing from West Texas State University in 1990, and an M.S. in Nursing from West Texas A&M University in 2013.
Teaching and Related Service
Mrs. Robinson teaches Health assessment and the freshman seminar course for nursing. She is also the Director of the Bivins Nursing Learning Center.
Mrs. Robinson is the author of "Simulation as a Means to Increase Perception of Confidence in Interprofessional Collaboration for Undergraduate Nursing Students." She has coauthored three publications and has presented this research at several national and international conferences.
Mrs. Robinson is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society; Society for Simulation in Healthcare and serves as an adviser for the College of Nursing.
Research and Creative Activity
Mrs. Robinson’s research interests include simulation in nursing, the use of virtual worlds for teaching nursing, and the concept of the "flipped classroom" at the collegiate level.
