Professional Profile
Dr. Friemel joined the Laura and Joe Street School of Nursing in 2020. She received her B.S. in Health Sciences in 2012, her A.D.N. in 2014, her B.S.N. in 2019, her M.S.N. in from West Texas A&M University in 2020, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2024 from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Dr. Friemel has experience in women's health and medical-surgical nursing.Dr. Friemel has experience teaching pre-licensure medical-surgical nursing and leadership and management, RN-BSN online courses, and graduate level informatics. Dr. Friemel holds a national certification as a nurse educator and clinical nurse educator. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International.
