At 43, Mona Rae took a bold step into a new chapter—nursing. What began as a late-in-life career change quickly became a calling. Over the next 15 years, she earned her Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing while caring for some of the most complex patients in ICU step-down, stroke, and cardiac units. Along the way, she discovered her greatest joy: teaching. Today, she channels her experience, compassion, and encouragement into helping students believe in themselves, master their skills, and realize just how far they can go.
