Professional Profile
Teresa Smoot joined the Department of Nursing in 2016. She received an ADN from Amarillo College in 1985, a BSN from West Texas State University in 1989, a MSN in Nursing Education from South University in 2008, and a post master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Bradley University in 2017.
Teaching and Related Service:
Teresa teaches courses in the graduate nursing program for Family Nurse Practitioner and Comprehensive fields of study.
She is a member of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty, Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, Panhandle Nurse Practitioners Association, and Sigma Theta Tau.
