Professional Profile
Dr. Yang joined the College of Engineering in 2017. He received a B.S. in Aircraft Design and Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2011, an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from University of Texas at Arlington in 2016 and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from University of Texas at Arlington in 2017.
Teaching and Related Service
Dr. Yang teaches Calculus, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, and Machine Learning.
Dr. Yang is a member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and serves as the advisor for the student chapter of SIAM at WTAMU. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Yang’s research interests include computational fluid dynamics and the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
