
The registration for the competition is completely free and open to all WT students. College entry-level mathematics knowledge is required. Limited seats because of the room capacity. Players can RSVP through the following button, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Introduction - 10:30 AM
The judges annouce the competition rules.
First Round - 10:45 AM
All players will solve 25 multiple-choice problems. The first 12 players that solve the problems quickly and correctly will advance to the second round.
Lunch break - 11:45 AM
Free lunch will be available.
Second Round - 12:30 PM
The 12 players who advance to the second round will be randomly split into 4 groups (3 players in each group). Three players in one group will solve the same question on the whiteboard at the same time. The first player to solve the question correctly in 5 minutes will win. If all players fail to solve the question in 5 minutes, one extra question will be given. Each group will have one winner.
Semi-Final - 1:00 PM
The 4 players who win in the second round will be split into 2 groups (2 players in each group). Each group will have one winner. The players will solve the same question on the whiteboard at the same time, and the first player to solve the question correctly in 5 minutes will win.
Final - 1:30 PM
The 2 players who win in the semi-final round will play in the final. The final will be a “best of 3” format, where each player will solve the same question on the whiteboard at the same time. The first player to solve two questions correctly will be declared the winner.

All players must arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of the competition.

Players cannot use any electronic devices, calculators or notes during the competition.

Cheating will not be tolerated, and any player found cheating will be immediately disqualified.

The judges’ decision is final, and no appeals will be entertained.

In case of a tie in any round, an extra question will be given to determine the winner.
