This program allows up to FIVE STUDENTS admission into WT based on the recommendation of their HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL.
We want to empower high school principals to identify students who may benefit from RECOGNITION BY SOMEONE THEY KNOW AND TRUST.
General Requirements
Students directed to WT by principals should meet these general requirements:
Meet Texas Uniform Admission Policy
Freshman Applicants
Applicants must meet one of the following and have a minimum 2.0 Cumulative High School GPA:
- High School Class Rank - Top 30%
- 3.0 Cumulative High School GPA (4.0 Scale)
- 21 ACT Composite Score or 1060 SAT Composite Score
Students who do not meet one or more of the above requirements will be evaluated based on a combination of class rank, GPA, and test scores. We encourage all students to apply!
Submit both transcripts and test scores to be considered for competitive scholarship awards.
