Professional Profile

Dr. Moeller joined the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice in 2016. He received a B.S. in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, a Master’s of Political Science from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2012. Dr. Moeller is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and the university Pre-Law Advisor.

Teaching and Related Service

Dr. Moeller’s areas of focus within Political Science are public law and American political development. Specifically, Dr. Moeller teaches Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Judicial Process, Political Thought, American Political Thought and Development, Research Methods, and Principles of Emergency Management.

Research and Creative Activity

Dr. Moeller’s research centers on civil rights, voting rights, and American political development. He has authored several law review articles and a book focusing on enfranchisement in early America.
