Professional Profile
Dawn Marie Jordan joined the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice in 2015 as a pat time instructor and 2016 full time. She received a B.S. in Sociology emphasis in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University in 1991 and M.A. in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University in 2011. Dawn Marie is retired from the State of Texas Parole Division. She has been teaching criminal justice at the college level since 2013
Teaching and Related Service
Mrs. Jordan teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Drugs, Society and Criminal Justice, Introduction to Law and Community Corrections. She has previously taught Organized Crime, Crime in America, Introduction to Courts and Introduction to Criminal Investigations.
Research and Creative Activity
Dawn Marie’s interests include community corrections, the criminal mind and organized crime, specifically the mob.
