The time is now! Maybe you have a part time job and you keep thinking, well when I get to that point I will speak up and share my ideas, or volunteer to do that project. Although you probably have good intentions, why not step up to the plate now? Getting outside of your comfort zone is just that-uncomfortable, but through those uncomfortable situations you grow. You grow your skills, your knowledge, and the confidence to know that next time stepping up will be that much easier! So take the leap and step up even if no one is expecting you to because sometimes those opportunities don’t come around again. Plus, wouldn’t it be nice to have a great answer in your next interview?!
