Removing a "Hold"
You can see if you have a hold on your account through Buff Advisor. There are a few reasons why you will show a hold on your account with the Business Office:
- Your account balance is due and you have not set up a payment plan
- You have a past due balance on your account
- You have a balance on an emergency loan
- Your account balance has gone to collections
How to remove your hold:
- Log into your Buff Advisor and make a payment through Student Finance with a card or bank account information
- Use the drop box to pay with a check or money order. The drop box is located at the Business Office in Old Main, room 104
- Mail a check or money order to: WTAMU Accounting & Business Office WT Box 60999 Canyon, TX 79016
- Holds will be updated the next business day if payment is made online.
