The State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology licenses and regulates Texas'

  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Audiologists
  • Interns in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Interns in Audiology
  • Assistants in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Assistants in Audiology

This board evaluates credentials, monitors continuing education activities, conducts complaint investigations, and otherwise regulates a variety of concerns related to the practice of speech-language pathology in the state of Texas.

 

The state of Texas requires that speech-language pathologists be licensed in order to practice in Texas.

 

Notice that the requirements for licensure vary from state to state.

The West Texas A&M Univerity's graduate speech-language pathology program prepares students for applying for licensure in the state of Texas.

The West Texas A&M Univerity's graduate speech-language pathology program does not represent that our program prepares students to apply for licensure in other states
