Professional Profile
Mrs. Brown joined the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2019. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Communication Disorders from West Texas A&M University in 2013 and 2016, respectfully. She holds the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association’s Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) as well as Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Mrs. Brown is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and Speech Science Special Interest Group.
Teaching and Related Service
Mrs. Brown currently teaches courses in phonetics, speech and hearing science, speech sound disorders in children, and neural basis of communication disorders. She also provides clinical instruction for graduate students in the WTAMU Speech and Hearing Clinic. Mrs. Brown has worked as a speech-language pathologist in pediatric home health and public school settings.
