  • Our desire as an outdoor program is to demonstrate Leave No Trace ethics. We are guests in our national and state wilderness areas and parks. It has been said of conservationists, "Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints!" That is what we do.
  • Our staff is qualified and certified instructors in areas of technical outdoor skills. We are constantly and consistently reviewing and evaluating technical outdoor skills.
  • We strive to provide the best quality equipment for the participants enjoyment and safety, giving guidance and hands on demonstration and instruction. The participants health and safety is our top priority.
  • We want to provide our students, faculty, staff and community with the greatest amount of professionalism as possible. We aspire to be people of honesty and integrity.
  • Recreation comes from the word recreate which means to "bring back" or "renew." Our hope is that our staff can assist the participant in re-creating or renewing positive outdoor experiences bringing students, faculty, staff, community and family members together in healthier states of being.
