Professional Profile

Price joined the Department of Sports and Exercise Sciences in 2013. He received a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Applied Sport) from West Texas A&M University in 2008 and a M.S. in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Sport Management) from West Texas A&M University in 2010.

Teaching and Related Service


Price teaches a variety of SES courses including Foundations of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Theory and Practice of Non-Traditional Games, Principles of Instruction in Physical Activity, and Professional Issues in Sport and Exercise Sciences. He also teaches a freshman IDS course for incoming SES and Athletic Training majors.


Research and Creative Activity

Price's research interests include sport marketing, legal and ethical issues in sport, facility construction, and outdoor recreation.

Personal Sketch

Price lives in Canyon with his wife Chelsey, a second grade teacher for the Hereford ISD. They have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Great Dane. Blake has a passion for the outdoors, spending a lot of his spare time hunting, playing golf, and pitching washers. He also enjoys attending WTAMU sporting events and helping on the family farm/ranch.
