Second Bachelor Students are exempt from the TSI. This is because all Second Bachelor students have already satisfied the TSI through their first bachelor's degree.
Freshmen and Transfer students must still complete the TSI.

About the TSI
The TSI (Texas Success Initiative) is required of all students before they can enroll in a public institution in Texas. All undergraduates are required to be assessed in reading, writing, and math before enrolling in university-level courses.
Unless the Office of Admissions - International has told you otherwise, please register for all 3 exams.
The TSI examination is not a pass/fail exam - it is a placement test only.
For more information on the TSI, please visit the TSI website.
Please do not register for the TSI using the website instructions. International students must follow the process outlined here.
