The Dance Minor at West Texas A&M University offers non-dance majors the opportunity to explore and progress the art of dance through a structured yet flexible curriculum.  This minor requires 18 credit hours (nine hours must be advanced) and supports students seeking creative development, physical discipline, dance technique, and the ability to audition for the program’s annual dance concerts.  Students would gain a foundation in theory and practice, enhancing their artistic versatility.

Students interested in the Dance Minor must complete a one-time application and encouraged to visit with their academic advisor within their major.  For more information regarding Dance Courses within the minor, please visit the Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts and Humanities College Catalog.
