Meet Jordan Conde: Communications Specialist

Action-Jordan-CondeJordan Conde is a young man with many roles and self-proclaimed titles. Jordan is a student, a creative, a synergist, a public transport advocate, a cheese enthusiast, and a community volunteer.

Jordan is currently pursuing his bachelor’s in digital communications and media from WT. He is WT’s ambassador for the National Millennial and Gen Z Community. He also serves as the Public Relations Chairman for WTs Student Government Association and is involved with the F1RSTGEN, the Hispanic Student Association, Art club, and KWTS Radio.

In his professional career he has won 3 Addy Awards, 5 Grand Prizes from the National Electronic Media Association, a Certificate of Excellence from the 13th Congressional District of Texas, and an Award of Honor from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers. 

Jordan is passionate about belonging and creating safe spaces that are focused on social impact. Jordan has volunteered and worked annually with the Texas Department of Transportation, United Way, Family Support Services of Amarillo, Amarillo Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Kilgore Memorial Library, Window on the Plains Museum, and the Panhandle Plains History Museum.

The newest title given to Jordan is Communications Specialist with Academic Digital Marketing at WT, where he continues to create a sense of belonging for students and staff.
