- Career Aspirations: After earning my bachelor's degree, I plan to pursue graduate studies in history to further my knowledge in the field. I will then pursue teaching either in secondary education or higher education to inspire the future generations to become curious of the world around them and the past that has led to this moment.
“My experience in the McNair program has taught me many invaluable lessons that I will carry with me through the rest of my life. It has taught me that research is scattered with failures and dead ends that must be overcome, for failure is an inherent part of success. The experience has also made me realize the many possibilities of academic research, and therefore anyone can discover something which they are passionate about pursuing. The mentorship I had along the way cannot be replaced, and the memories of the whole experience will never be forgotten."
