MEMBER BENEFITS
Total is dependent on the member's service term and hours selected. Paid in monthly increments and not classified as a salary or wage, but designed to support members' living expenses during their service year.
Hands-on experiences and trainings help members who are figuring it out or looking to grow new skills. Service is also a networking opportunity for members to meet active community members and professionals in their field of interest.
Members must:
- Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or lawful permanent resident
- Be 18 years or older (no upper age limit)
- Pass criminal history background checks, including National Sex Offender Public Registry, felony crimes, and an FBI fingerprint check
- Be located in the Texas Panhandle during time of service
- For select service sites, members must have completed at least some college
WT Community Resilience Corps serves under-resourced and rural communities across the Texas Panhandle by partnering with community-based organizations, educational institutions, and other groups working to meet community needs.
