What you'll do

WT CRC Fellows are placed with community-based organizations, nonprofits, and local agencies to strengthen our Community Impact Partners’ capacity, expand their reach, and co-develop local solutions to pressing challenges.  

Fellows support a wide range of community development, service coordination, and organizational strengthening efforts. You’ll be working side-by-side with local leaders to help amplify community voices, enhance service delivery, and build a lasting infrastructure that supports regional resilience and long-term impact.

Get paid to serve

Fellows are paid an hourly rate for their service. Amount is dependent on their service site, hours per week, and the program's grant funding.

Professional Growth

Hands-on experiences and trainings help members who are figuring it out or looking to grow new skills. Service is also a networking opportunity for members to meet active community members and professionals in their field of interest. 

Requirements

Fellows must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or lawful permanent resident 
  • Be 18 years or older by the first day of employment (no upper age limit)
  • Be willing to commit to serving the community for the agreed-upon term
  • Pass criminal history background checks
  • Be located in the Texas Panhandle during time of service
  • For select service sites, Fellows must have completed at least some college
