Commitment to Environmental Stewardship

Our Reaffirmation of Commitment to Environmental Stewardship

Members of The Texas A&M University System have a rich history of environmental stewardship that continues to be positively reflected every day on our campuses and at our agencies. West Texas A&M University is dedicated to environmental stewardship as we plan, design, and build our facilities. Additionally, on a daily basis, we have many professionals, workers, contractors, and volunteers maintaining our standards and improving our practices. Moreover, environmental stewardship is a commitment codified by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents in System Regulation 24.01.03 Environment. Chancellor Sharp has endorsed this policy.

If you would like to learn more, have ideas for how we can improve or would like to play an active role, you are invited to reach out to the A&M System Environmental Manager at safety@tamus.edu. Or for more environmental content, please visit the Environmental Management section of the System’s website or the Environmental Safety webpage on WT’s website.
