Congratulations on your admission to WTAMU! One of your first steps toward a successful transition to WT is to complete orientation. As a new transfer student, you have the option to complete orientation either in person or online.  Please select the options below to find out more about each type of transfer orientation.

Who is Considered a Transfer Student?

A transfer student is defined as a student who was previously enrolled in a university or college and received a minimum of twelve academic hours after high school graduation- dual credit coursework does not qualify. If you do not meet these requirements for a transfer student, review New Student Orientation.

Things to do Before Orientation

Get a jump start on your WTAMU career by completing these assignments prior to TSO

  • Clear your calendar for the orientation date
  • Take all necessary exams and submit your scores to the Office of Admissions, Contact Admissions with testing questions at 806-651-2020
  • Contact Educational Services to check costs and make testing appointments at 806-651-2341
  • Send final transcripts - contact your Registrar's Office to have your college transcripts sent
  • Download the campus map
