I was already registered for a summer NSO, what do I need to do now?

If you were already registered for a summer NSO, we have moved your reservation to the August 21-22 session.  Please be checking your email for information about next steps that should be coming out in the next few weeks.

How do I register for NSO?

You can register online at www.wtamu.edu/nso.

Can I still attend WT this Fall?

Yes, all admitted students may still attend WT this Fall.  We will be working with you to make sure that all of your questions get answered and you have everything ready to go for your first semester at WT.

Do I need to register now for Orientation or should I wait until later?

We encourage all students to register for Orientation as early as possible.  This allows you more time to take care of all the steps to get registered for classes.

How/When do I register for my classes?

Students will register for classes remotely as part of Step 3 of the orientation.  Students will be able to sign up for an advising appointment once they have completed the Online Advising & Registration module.  Advising appointments will start on April 27, 2020 and will go throughout the summer.

I’m not getting any emails about next steps, what should I do?

Emails are being sent to both the email address you listed on your orientation reservation form and your student email.  If you are not getting the emails, please email Amanda Lawson at alawson@wtamu.edu to confirm that we have the correct email on file for you.

Is there an orientation fee/How much does Orientation cost?

There is an Orientation fee of $75. The NSO fee is added to the student’s bill at the beginning of the first long semester.

What if the in-person August date doesn’t work for me or there is a special circumstance where I am unable to attend?

All students must attend and complete all components of NSO (online, registration, and in-person event in August).  If you have a special circumstance that does not allow you to complete a part of orientation, please email Amanda Lawson at alawson@wtamu.edu.

Is there an online orientation?

There are online components of NSO which must be completed before registering for classes and attending the in-person component in August.
