Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative

The Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative (BHWI) at West Texas A&M University strengthens and sustains the region’s behavioral health workforce through collaboration and innovation.

BHWI aligns academic programs, expands professional development, supports supervision, and builds community partnerships to serve students, professionals, and communities.

This work is guided by eight strategic priorities aligned with WT’s mission and the needs of the Texas Panhandle.
