Parking Services

Parking Services deals with all parking needs at WTAMU. Permits are required on all vehicles parked on campus 24 hours per day. There is a charge for parking permits for faculty, staff, and students; however, guest permits are available at no cost.

Adhesive permits must be completely stuck to the rear windshield on the lower-left corner with the adhesive on the permit.  Permits cannot be partially stuck on.  It must be visible from the outside of the vehicle. All permit transfers require a new permit.  If old remains of the permit are brought in, the cost is $10.00.  All persons operating a vehicle on University property are subject to State and Federal laws along with University traffic rules.

Campus parking information may be obtained by calling (806) 651-2309 during normal business hours or (806) 651-2300 after hours.

Parking Regulations

Parking is enforced 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Vehicles may be impounded for the following offenses:   

  • Traffic hazard
  • Display no permit after 3 unpaid citations
  • Displaying a lost or stolen permit
  • Illegally parked in a fire or handicap zone
  • Other violations listed in Parking Regulations
