What is a struggle that you have experienced in college? When I first came to college, I struggled with opening up and making friends. I was very shy and was concerned about what others would think of me. I met a couple of girls who introduced me to the idea that knowing one person can lead you to knowing more. From there, I made new friends and was not afraid to open up to new people. That experience has led me to where I am today as I help others find their way through their first year of college.

Why are you a BUFF Mentor? I was led to become a BUFF Mentor with the hope of impacting someones life, as they make the transition into college. I want to let incoming students know that they are not going to be alone and always had someone to talk to who is just a phone call away. I enjoy participating in social events that open up mentees to new experiences. It's always great to meet new people everyday as everyone has a different story to share!
