Professional Profile
Dr. McKee joined the WTAMU School of Music in 2025. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) degree in Organ Performance and Pedagogy, a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organ Performance, and Certificate in Sacred Music from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, where she was a student of Dr. Gregory Hand. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music with a Concentration in Sacred Music from Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida, where she was a student of Mr. Lynn Kraehling. She also holds minors in Classical Languages and Philosophy from Ave Maria University. Dr. McKee has performed throughout the United States as well as internationally.

Dr. McKee teaches applied organ and related courses at WTAMU.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. McKee has a special interest in the influence of Gregorian chant on 20th-century French composers, especially Charles Tournemire. Her D.M.A. essay, "A Guide to Chant in Charles Tournemire’s ‘L’Orgue Mystique,’” is intended as a practical guide for performers. She has given many organ demonstrations and workshops for church groups and is active as a teacher, accompanist, and church musician.
Personal Sketch
Dr. McKee lives in Amarillo with her husband and children. She is the music director and organist at St. Ann's in Canyon and enjoys playing contract bridge.
