The Sound of West Texas WT Marching Band is open to any students, regardless of major.
What's the timeline for joining the WT Marching Band?
Not yet at WT? The Marching Band Interest Form is a great place to begin! We can help communicate with you important dates and events leading to the start of the season!
Once you have been officially accepted to the university, you can join by following these easy steps:
1.) Register for the class – For students who are new to WT, make sure you register for the class during your advising experience. All band members MUST be registered for the class to participate!
MUEN 1026 01 – All Freshman & Sophomore Music Majors
MUEN 1026 02 – All Non-Majors (zero hour credit)
MUEN 3026 01 – All Juniors & Senior Music Majors
2.) Fill out the Band Interest Form online – This form is available now and must be filled out by ALL members who plan to march. Due ASAP!
3.) Download the membership packet – Download the membership packet (available late April); fill out and return all forms as indicated.
