Celebrating Black History Month

On Feb. 26, 1926, Carter G. Woodson started Negro History Week. This week would later become Black History Month. The national theme for Black History Month 2024 is “African American and the Arts.” Celebrate by attending literary events, film screenings, gallery and art exhibits, lectures, musical events, amd black history celebrations.

We hope that you will join us for the events scheduled for Black History Month here at WTAMU.
