College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)

Welcome to CAMP! 

CAMP is a federally funded program designed to help students from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds succeed at WTAMU. Our program facilitates the transition from high school to college and offers first-year support services to develop the skills necessary to persist and graduate from college. CAMP strives to be "a home away from home" for its students.


Our mission is to help students from migrant and seasonal farmworker backgrounds transform their lives by obtaining a post-secondary education.

CAMP offers help with:
  • Early outreach and pre-admission services
  • Up to $4160 in financial assistance
  • First-year completion
  • Second-year enrollment
  • Financial Aid
  • Housing
  • Other University services
  • Academic advising
  • Personal counseling
  • Tutors in basic skills and subject area courses
  • A home-like environment

February 1 CAMP Interviews Begin

April - May  Notification of Acceptance into CAMP Program
