CANYON, Texas — Buffs around the Austin area are invited to a Sunday afternoon social in Georgetown.

The WT Alumni Association will host graduates and friends at 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at Rentsch Brewery, 2500 N.E. Inner Loop 3105 in Georgetown.

To RSVP by Nov. 7, call 806-651-2311 or visit wtamuuw.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cD4RDg1QDjTLvzU.

“The greater Austin area has a dedicated WT alumni base that continues to stay connected to WT,” said Ronnie Hall, Alumni Association executive director. "They care deeply about our students, our programs, and the future of the University.”

Admission is free.

Maintaining strong community ties is a component of the University’s long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.

That plan is fueled by the historic One West comprehensive fundraising campaign, which reached its initial $125 million goal 18 months after publicly launching in September 2021. The campaign has raised more than $175 million and will continue through 2025.
