Master Plan

About

West Texas A&M University has begun a Master Plan Update that will guide the future of the campus. Led by Perkins+Will (Austin, TX), and carried out in tandem with President Wendler’s WT125 strategic plan initiative, this process will set the stage for the next 10 years and beyond, and seek creative ways to improve the campus and achieve strategic goals.

Master Plan

The master plan will be undertaken over a period of roughly 9 months, dovetailing with the academic calendar and there will be a number of opportunities to learn, engage, and provide input into the process and have a positive impact on the outcomes of the master plan. Led by Perkins+Will (Austin, TX) the master plan will cover many areas including buildings and landscape, student life, mobility and parking, athletics and recreation, and campus resiliency, safety and sustainability.

Students, faculty, and staff can learn more about the campus master plan process on this webpage, which will provide information on events, updates on the status of the project, and other ways to participate in the process. We hope you will get involved and help us improve WTAMU for generations to come.
