Master Plan

About

West Texas A&M University completed their Master Plan Update that will guide the future of the campus in December 2018. Led by Perkins + Will (Austin, TX), and carried out in tandem with President Wendler’s WT125 strategic plan initiative, this process will set the stage for the next 10 years and beyond, and seek creative ways to improve the campus and achieve strategic goals.

WTAMU Campus Master Plan

Master Plan

The Master Plan was undertaken over a period of roughly 9 months, dovetailing with the academic calendar and offered a number of opportunities to learn, engage, and provide input into the process and have a positive impact on the outcomes of the master plan. Led by Perkins + Will (Austin, TX) the master plan covers many areas including buildings and landscape, student life, mobility and parking, athletics and recreation, and campus resiliency, safety and sustainability.

Students, faculty, staff and community members had the opportunity to learn more about the campus master plan process and contribute to the final plan that will serve the University for the next 10 plus years.  We thank all that got  involved and helped us improve WTAMU for generations to come.
