WTAMU graduate business degrees continue to rank in the top 10

CANYON, Texas--Of the three online graduate degree programs offered by the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business at West Texas A&M University, all have been nationally-recognized by reputable organizations, and the list continues to grow with four new rankings.

Most recently, WTAMU ranked No. 1 on the list of 15 Best Affordable Master’s in Finance Online by Grad School Hub (GSH), an organization that provides resources to help determine the best-fitted degree and program for aspiring graduate students.

Out of 52 accredited colleges and universities included on the National Center for Education Statistics, GSH considered only those acknowledged by either Forbes Magazine, the Princeton Review or U.S. News and World Report. This is the first time for WTAMU to be listed in the GSH rankings, and among the elite 15, the University was selected as the best.

Another top 10 mention includes the No. 2 spot on the list of 10 Best Masters Business Administration Online by Online Course Report (OCR), an independent and thoroughly researched source for the best online course offerings.

Ranking was determined by four factors weighing 25 percent each among commendation, accreditation, accessibility and specialization availability. WTAMU was commended for accessibility of the same "experienced faculty" on-campus and online with flexibility and convenience for continuous learning. This is the second year for WTAMU to be listed among the top five spots by OCR.

"We are pleased by the spotlights from reputable higher education organizations and their annual rankings that continue to shine on our online program," Dr. Neil Terry, dean of the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business, said. "Providing quality degree options that earn national recognition, while maintaining cost effective pricing, is a competitive advantage for many programs at West Texas A&M University. Recognition as one of the leading institutions in the nation is a source of great pride for our faculty and staff."

Additional accolades include the No. 8 ranking for top 50 Best Online Master’s Programs That Do Not Require the GRE by Master’s Programs Guide, an online guide for graduate degree seeking students, and the No. 1 spot on the 10 Best Deals on Master’s in Economics Degrees Online 2018 by Great College Deals, posted earlier this year.
