CANYON, Texas — Registration deadline is Oct. 16 for Discover WT, the largest college preview event for prospective West Texas A&M University students.
The event will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 17 on the WT campus in Canyon.
“Discover WT is designed to give prospective students and their families an opportunity to experience campus and learn more about the life of a WT student,” said Dr. Rick Haasl, vice president for enrollment management. “We invite all students to come experience what we like to call ‘the perfect-sized University’: a place small enough that people know you and care about you, while big enough to offer you countless opportunities to grow and find your own path.”
During the event, prospective students can explore academic programs, tour campus, meet faculty and current students, and learn more about student life and opportunities to get involved.
Attendees also will receive information about the admissions process, scholarships, financial aid and housing.
Lunch will be provided, and students will have opportunities to participate in giveaways, including an iPad giveaway and a scholarship drawing.
Registration is required.
For information, visit wtamu.edu/DiscoverWT or call the Office of Admissions at 806-651-2020.
