CANYON, Texas — West Texas A&M University alumni in and around Space City are invited to an upcoming gathering.

The WT Alumni Association will host Houston-area alums from 6 to 7 p.m. June 7 at Riverhouse Houston, 65 Hirsch Road.

“WT alumni are doing incredible things in the Houston area,” said Ronnie Hall, Alumni Association executive director. “We are excited to bring Buffs together to celebrate that success and for a night of shared pride in our great University.”

The event is free for registered guests, with appetizers and one drink provided by the Alumni Association.

Register by June 3 here: wtamuuw.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0v2PG5J0ghPtTXU.

Strengthening existing and creating new relationships with alumni is a key mission of the University’s long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.

That plan is fueled by the historic One West comprehensive fundraising campaign, which reached its initial $125 million goal 18 months after publicly launching in September 2021. The campaign’s new goal is to reach $175 million by 2025; currently, it has raised more than $165 million.
