CANYON, Texas — One of West Texas A&M University’s acclaimed Colleges will offer a virtual tour of its graduate programs in June.

Deadline is June 7 to register for the Discover the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business Virtual Event, set for 6 p.m. June 10.

This event is open to any students who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree within this college.

“We strongly encourage prospective students interested in pursuing a graduate business program to join us for the upcoming virtual open house and learn more about the Engler College of Business at WT,” said Dr. Amjad Abdullat, dean and professor of computer information systems. “Our faculty are world-class, and high-quality programs are greatly enhanced when we can develop meaningful and personal interactions with our students.”

During the event students will explore highly competitive graduate programs in accounting, business administration, finance and economics, and computer information systems and business analytics.

Prospective students also will meet Dr. Robert A. King, associate dean of graduate business programs, as well as learn about the admissions process and the applicant portal.

Potential students also will learn about funding opportunities, including scholarships and federal need-based aid.

Those who register by June 7 have the chance to win an application fee waiver from the WT Graduate School.

Fortune Magazine recently ranked WT’s online MBA program No. 9 this year. The Princeton Review ranked WT’s online MBA program at No. 19 on its Top 50 list, the fourth consecutive year the University has made the Top 25 ranking on the prestigious list.

The master of science in finance and economics and the master of professional accounting ranked No. 4 in Texas and No. 30 overall in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 rankings, and the MBA program also ranked No. 4 in the state.

Intelligent.com ranked 52 WT programs among the best in the country, including several business degrees. And WT’s master of science in finance and economics ranked No. 2 in TFE Times’ most recent listings.

Quality programs are the cornerstone of the University’s long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.

That plan is fueled by the historic, $125 million One West comprehensive fundraising campaign. To date, the five-year campaign — which publicly launched Sept. 23 — has raised about $110 million.
