CANYON, Texas—For the third consecutive year, The Financial Engineer has recognized the graduate business program at West Texas A&M University with a top 10 ranking. WTAMU’s Master of Science in Finance and Economics (MSFE) was ranked No. 3 in The Financial Engineer’s 2017 Financial Economics Rankings of economics and finance graduate programs.
Overall scores for the rankings are based on several factors, including the program’s acceptance rate, incoming students’ undergraduate GPA, employment after graduation, faculty credentials and starting salary. The Financial Engineer Times’ Master of Financial Economics Rankings are the most comprehensive rankings for graduate financial economics programs in the United States. The institutions recognized in the most recent rankings are as follows:

Current enrollment in the University’s MSFE program is 137 students, which includes representation from 31 different states and 14 different countries. The flexible program allows students to complete all degree requirements on campus, online or a combination of the campus and online environments. The program is geared to professionals working in applied finance and business fields but also offers the academic depth for placement in leading doctorate programs and law schools.
