Professional Profile
Instructor Dirksmeyer joined the Department of Communication in 2005 as a student worker. She received a B.S. in Corporate Communication with a minor in Mass Communication in 2009 and a M.A. in Communication in 2010, both from West Texas A&M University. She became a part-time instructor for the department in 2012 and full-time in 2016.
Teaching and Related Service
Dirksmeyer teaches communication classes in the core curriculum, including basic public speaking and interpersonal communication. She also teaches persuasion and communication theory online.
