Professional Profile
Patrick Osei-Hwere joined the Department of Communication as full-time faculty in 2016. He received a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Ghana in 1991, and his M.S. in Journalism and M.A. in Communication and Development from Ohio University in 2003. He is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
Teaching and Related Service
Osei-Hwere teaches Public Relations and Advertising Research, Advertising Principles, Media Writing, and Introduction to Media Communication.
Research and Creative Activity
His research interests include media and social change, strategic health communication, and developing and evaluating health promotion programs.
