The best part about your academic experience at the Engler College of Business is that you get to customize so much of it. If you are very ambitious and want to study multiple areas in depth, we offer minors as well as double majors. It’s all up to you.
Minors
You can earn a minor in a second field in the College of Business, or you can choose to pair your business degree with a minor in a complementary field, such as Psychology or Art. Either way, it’s all about being able to tailor your experience. There are seven minors available in the College of Business for business as well as non-business students:
- Accounting
- Business Law & Communication
- Computer Information Systems
- Economics
- Finance
- Management
- Marketing
Minors in the College of Business require 18 hours of specific courses within the discipline. But in many cases, courses you have already taken for the major may count toward the minor. That’s another of saying that you may be able to earn a minor without taking an extra classes!
For more information about courses required for each minor see the Advising Services Minor Information Page.
