The Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics (MS CISBA) program prepares the next generation of computing leaders to meet the challenge of harnessing and analyzing data to enhance business decisions and achieve business success in today's technology-centric business environment. The program is designed to provide students with the analytical skills, business acumen, cyber-security awareness, computing strategies and other tools to transform business organizations into a more competitive enterprise and derive optimal results. Classes combine lectures, cases, individual and team projects, and participant presentations. Many projects may be directly applicable to the student participant's employer. The program is designed for students who want to improve their understanding of computer applications in the following areas:
- Quantitative analysis;
- Data analytics;
- Computing and data mining;
- Web and mobile development;
- Business integration and cybersecurity;
- Technology planning and project management.
The MS CISBA degree program is a STEM program available completely online and/or on campus. Due to visa regulations, International Students with non-immigrant F1 visa status can only count one online class toward the required 9 credit hours full time class load per semester.
Program Details
Our MS CISBA program is designed for full time employed professionals allowing up to six years for completion to complement your work-life balance, however most students complete the program in a two year period. Students can choose their course load each semester within four semesters each year:
- Fall - Last week of August through the end of November, 14 weeks
- Spring - Mid-January through the end of April, 14 weeks
- Summer 1 - Beginning of June through the first week of July
- Summer 2 - Second week of July through the third week of August
